This will finish with work about ISLAM in their assignments page. During the week of 17th to 21st March they will visit places of worship in Hong Kong. There are some sample photos from a previous trip to give you an idea. YEAR EIGHT TRIP TO PLACES OF WORSHIP Part of the work as a result of this tour, will be to build a Tourist Guide of these places which can be included in this website. Look out for some new material on the first of our main trips this year. WATCH THIS SPACE! Year 7 - May 2003 PILGRIMAGE - Year 7 will be going on a day's visit to Two places which are used for Pilgrimage in Hong Kong. the dates for these are Monday 26th May and Wednesday 28th May. These classes will be going to TAO FONG SHAN and TEMPLE OF 10,000 BUDDHA'S. both of which are in Shatin. Year 9 - June 2003 BUDDHISM in Year 9 - As part of the study of Buddhism and its answer to the problem of suffering Year 9 will spend THURSDAY 5th JUNE at Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island. This is the site of Tian Tan Buddha, the famous Bronze Buddha. There is some useful information in the Religion in Hong Kong page on this site.
