        Singh.
In order to do this you need to download this site.

                                   http://www.sikh-history.com/sikhhist/gurus

There is information on each of the ten Gurus,  far more information than you need so try to
find out in the first paragraph why each was famous.  Then down load the pictures

                   about each one.

2.     Sikh Beliefs

Sikhs believe in ONE God who they worship using the title "WAHEGURU" (wonderful Lord).  They also have very strong beliefs about social equality and justice.

a.     Find out about some of their beliefs in the following website. Print them or copy them

http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/carolrb/sikhism/beliefs.html

The Mool Mantra is very important and is a prayer that is said every day.  It contains all that Sikhs believe about God

"There is One God
His Name is Truth
He is without fear and without hate
He is timeless
He is not born
Nor will He die
By the Grace of the Guru,
He is made know to us"

This word is IK OANKAR and means "there is only One God"

b.  Task.  Copy the Mool Mantra in a neat way into you books and decorate it with The
Khanda and the Ik Oankar symbols above.

c.  Task.  You are making a programme for TV which is designed to show people that
Sikh belief is very good. Write about 200 words explaining what you would
include in this programme. Use the following website to add more information.

If you want to find out more about Sikh beliefs in a more detailed way please go to this next website and use the information there.  If you find it too difficult for you then go back to use something more simple.
