Some details of the course

The main title of the Year 10 course is from the Edexcel Specification called:- Syllabus A 1481 Unit B Religion and Life from a Christian Perspective.  (There are lots of of available papers and choices and these are the ones we have chosen. If you want to read the Edexcel version click here
There are four main sections or units in this paper and you will study these in Y10.  There is a fifth section or unit and this is coursework (20% of the final mark)
So in year 10 you will study for one of your two exam papers and do one  of the final two pieces of coursework.
The four sections are   Believing in GodMatters of Life and DeathMarriage and the Family and Social Harmony.  You will study all four.
The three coursework areas are,  Religion and the Media,  Wealth and Poverty, Religion in the Arts.  You will pick ONE of these.
