RELIGIOUS STUDIES is taught at all levels in South Island School and by a group of experienced and well informed staff.  In Year 7 to Year 9 each class has two 40 minutes periods per week.  In Year 10 and 11 students are able to opt to study the subject at GCSE level and again in Year 12 and 13 students can opt to study the subject  at As and A level.

RELIGIOUS STUDIES is taught by (Photos from top to bottom):-

Our approach is thoroughly multi-cultural and non denominational. A wide range of beliefs and philosophies are covered over the whole curriculum and there is  opportunity to discuss and study many ethical and contemporary issues.

We value the religions present in the school and the community of Hong Kong and encourage students to celebrate their beliefs and to understand the lives of religious believers both in school, in Hong Kong and the world community.
