Ingredients per pizza

124g strong plain flour

½ tsp salt

½ tsp caster sugar

1 heaped tsp  dried yeast

70ml warm water

½ tbsp olive oil

 

 

 

  • sieve

  • plastic mixing bowl

  • measuring spoons

  • round ended knife

  • vegetable knife

  • cheese grater

  • rolling pin

  • chopping board

  • flour shaker

  • measuring jug

 

  • baking tray

  • baking paper

  • Cling film

 

 

 

 

 

   Dough mixture

  1. Preheat oven to 200°c.

  2. Put the flour, sugar, salt  and dried yeast in a bowl.

  3. Gradually add warm water to the flour, mixing with a round ended knife until it forms a dough. Then use your hands. If it is too sticky add 1 more tablespoon of flour.

  4. Shape dough into a ball and knead for 15  minutes. Leave the dough in the bowl to rest and place cling film over the bowl.

  5. Knead the dough for a further 5 minutes and shape into a thin circle using your hands and a rolling pin and a dusting of flour.

  6. Place pizza base on a piece of baking paper on a baking tray. Drizzle ½ tablespoon of oil over base.

  Pizza Toppings

  1. Meanwhile prepare toppings. Grate cheese and dice ingredients as required for your funny face design

  2. Spread on tomato sauce and then add prepared toppings to create funny face as drawn on your design sheet.

  3. Photograph pizza with your design sheet before cooking.

  4. Place in oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.
